Allan prides himself on being a hands on trainer, with a small team he can concentrate on the small things that make a difference between winning and losing. Allan ensures your horse gets that extra care that many of the larger stables cant provide, including afternoon walks, time out in the sand roll and an afternoon pick of grass. Mentally this can turn back horses previously trained in bigger stables and put them back in the winners stall.

Allan's horsemanship speaks for itself and he makes himself available to inspect weanlings, yearlings and older horses. He also encourages stable visits and regular contact with all his owners making your racing experience an enjoyable one.

Allan started out as an apprentice jockey in Brisbane then moved to North Queensland where he was one of the leading riders for ten years. A constant battle with weight forced Allan out of the riding ranks and into training.

Allan first set up as a trainer in Townsville and after early success decided to move closer to the city and relocated to Toowoomba. Allan's stable grew quickly and it wasnt long before regular successful trips to Brisbane. Throughout the 1990's and early 2000's Allan Doyle was a permanant name in the top ten Brisbane trainers premiership. After 20 years of hard work at Toowoomba and with a combination of the drought and lack of facilities at Toowoomba at the time Allan decided to relocate his team to Ipswich.

With a lifetime of experience in racing Allan Doyle Racing can give your horse the hands on attention that many of the larger stables simply cant provide.

Stables are manned 24hrs a day 7 days a week.

Allans Facilities include, Large safe cool besser block Stables and a Barn with Electric Fan cooling. The horses can be Exercised in the 100m pool, worked on the 1600 Sand Training track or conduct their fast work on the Grass Training Track.

Based at Ipswich Turf Club, home of the biggest Provincial cup meeting in Australia the "Ipswich cup " and the only provincial meeting to make the top 20 race meetings in Australia in 2008 & 2009.
