Chris Dawson Racing Stables.

My name is Chris Dawson. I have been training gallopers for close to 25 years now. With my wife Teresa and our two children we have created C and T Racing which offers a unique, cost effective style of training.

 

 

 

 

 

 We train at the Deagon complex with traditional style boxes and have a farm style property at Burpengary. The farm has walk-in-walk-out style boxes and a host of different yards and small paddocks and is about twenty minutes from Deagon. We travel the farm horses to the track daily and alternate horses between Deagon and Burpengary. This really helps the horses to race away from home. They settle in when you need them to, they stay up longer and show you exactly where they are in their preps.

I have only purchased three yearlings from the sales in our time training and all have won races. Bad Hair Day went to open company and came second place in the Mackay Cup. Silver Orphan was a winner at Ballina and placed. And finally Prayer Chamber who has won at lpswich and a $10,000 race at Toowoomba. Our only outside horses trained this year so far are Came Rippin who was given six starts, for a QTIS Maiden win at Esk and two other placings and a horse we purchased for $2000 named Koenigsegg who won a race we had set her for by two lengths at her third start in, a $10,000 race which makes her purchase price look cheap.
