Robert Price made his start in the racing world riding track work under the tutelage of K. J. Robinson in the early 1980s. After which time he then had his first success as a trainer with his first horse – a tried racehorse called Phantom King – in 1992. Rob has since had many winners including the stakes performers Red Ivory and Kosta Nothin'. He has also had many city winners with horses like Belle Voyage, Keeping the Faith, Art Official and the ever consistent Fuel .

Rob is married to Patricia Price, daughter of the legendary south coast trainer K.J.Robinson
